What’s Included in This Panel:
This lab panel is designed to establish a baseline before starting GLP-1 therapy (e.g., Semaglutide or Tirzepatide). It includes:
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) with GFR – Evaluates liver and kidney function, electrolytes, and glucose levels.
Thyroid Panel – Assesses thyroid function, which may impact weight loss and energy.
Amylase & Lipase – Screens for pancreatic health, especially important for GLP-1 therapies.
Vitamin B12 – Evaluates B12 status, essential for energy and metabolic health.
CBC with Auto Differential – Reviews overall blood health, including immune and red blood cell status.
Hemoglobin A1C (HgA1C) – Assesses long-term blood sugar control and insulin resistance.
